Remember when the Goo Goo Dolls were good? I've been listening to a lot of old Goo Goo Dolls recently, especially Superstar Car Wash and Hold Me Up. I think I would struggle to find two albums that have helped shape my tastes in music more. I think it is actually a shame that they'll never be discussed in conversations about the best bands of the early 90's alternative explosion! Seriously "Superstar Car Wash" is a brilliant album. I can remember exactly where I was the first time I heard the opening riff of "Fallin Down". I'd never heard anything like it before.
